Clark Forklift Trucks
As with any piece of machinery there are functional and user differences between brands, this is also true with fork lift trucks and forklift parts. The latest designs from some brands such as Hyster and Yale have been criticised for not being user friendly. These latest designs although are impressive with their new funky designs and automotive technology, in reality these fork lift trucks are hard to operate and cost more with parts that aren’t even needed. Below we take a couple of examples to demonstrate this.
Forklift Complicated Electrics - The new generation of competitive forklifts sport a computer to control the fuel system, another to control the forktruck functions such as shift inhibitors, stability control, multiple relay and fuse panels, and wire harnesses the size of your arm. Due to the overload of the computer software in these new forklift designs it becomes difficult to diagnose problems without laptops and costly computer parts. Clark fork truck designs are simple on purpose, you can still diagnose what’s wrong without a laptop and it saves cost on expensive computer parts that aren’t necessary.
Decorative Sheet Metal - The sheet metal on the sides of the engine compartment over the top of tilt cylinders, and on the front cowl, are either plastic or thin sheet metal. They are easily removable and easily damaged. The Clark forklift design simply doesn’t have these parts, so you don’t need to worry about damaged or lost panels. With the tilt cylinders below the floorboard, you don’t need tilt covers.
Fork Truck Best Value - If you do the design right, you can get all the good features and better durability for the same price as the one with all the complexity and gadgets, and they are a lot more user friendly which is the most important aspect when it comes to fork lift trucks.
